Are you an internationally educated nurse currently living in the UK and would like support to gain your Nursing & Midwifery Council (NMC) Registration?

UK Nursing Pathway has been developed by the Practice Education Team in Aneurin Bevan University Health Board to provide sponsorship and tools for learning to assist you in gaining your NMC Registration through its structured registration support programme.

Why not attend our Information Open Day on Saturday 29 September 2018 in Coldra Court Hotel, Chepstow Rd, Langstone, Newport from 10am to 4pm.

The Open Day will include a short presentation from the Practice Education Team and an opportunity to meet some of the nurses currently undertaking the programme.

Please note that we are currently prioritising applicants who have achieved a Level 7.0 (IELTS) or a Level B (OET). Applicants who have achieved a Level 6.5 (IELTS) or C+ (OET) will also be considered.

Start on Band 3 (AfC) and get support to achieve OET (or IELTS) and CBT

Stage Two

Move to Band 4 (AfC) and get support to achieve OSCE with 8 week programme

Move to Band 5 (AfC) having successfully secured your NMC Registration and PIN

About UK Nursing Pathway

UK Nursing Pathway Programme has been developed by Aneurin Bevan University Health Board and is designed to support overseas trained nurses currently living in the UK to achieve their NMC Registration. The Programme, which includes full-time employment with the Health Board as well as financial support for tuition and testing, provides a unique pathway for nurses to develop their career with Aneurin Bevan University Health Board.

Applicants are required to have completed a programme at post-secondary level leading to registration as a general nurse. The programme must be evidenced by a transcript of training from the applicant’s higher education institution and include a minimum of 500 hours of clinical practice.
